We appreciate our superhero educators every day but will celebrate awesome educators all month with our new series on Awesome Educators. This four-week series will highlight and celebrate educators! We decided to start this series by gathering a list of awesome deals available this week because we know the sacrifices and hard work that educators make daily to do what they love and change the world by shaping the minds and character of their students.

We have found that 91% of teachers buy supplies for their classrooms using their own money. All those supplies like crayons, pencils, and paper add up to $1.5 billion spent annually by teachers on school supplies (WOW!)  In addition, an amazing 67% of teachers buy snacks for their students to help with essential nutrition. We also found that 29% of teachers purchase bathroom products for students like toilet paper and toothbrushes. So you see, teaching isn’t just a job, it’s a Noble Profession, and a teacher often changes hats, roles, and superhero capes daily! They are the superheroes in our society!  So because educators are spending countless hours and money from their own pockets to prepare children for the future, we believe that the 3.9 million K-12 teachers who spend 100 billion dollars on their credit cards per year deserve the best deals they can find!
